Back to Back Double Qualification for Edhouse – PDC Euro Tour 5 & 6 Qualification Round-up

Edhouse becomes the first to make it four in a row

After being one of only two players who came through the tour card qualifiers for PDC Euro tours 3 and 4, Ritchie Edhouse has remarkably gone back to back coming through the qualification events for the Austrian Darts Open and the Baltic Sea Darts Open held today today in Leicester. In doing so he has become the first player to qualify for four European tour events in a row since the new qualification model was implemented.

 

Razma and Nijman also do the double

Whilst four qualifications in a row is a unique achievement for Edhouse; he was joined by Madars Razma and Wessel Nijman in a qualification double with all three players booking their spots in Euro tour events 5 and 6.

Along with the three players who did the double, other notable qualifiers from ET5 were Arron Monk and Karel Sedlacek, both of whom are battling to retain their tour cards and will be hoping for a boost back up the rankings towards tour card safety if they can deliver a performance in Graz at the Austrian Darts Open.

Later in the afternoon the ET6 qualification event decided the participants in the Baltic Sea Darts Open which will take place in Kiel, Germany in May. Haupai Puma made up for a loss in the final of the ET5 event by overcoming Martin Lukeman in a tense final to secure his spot in Germany. In doing so Puha prevented Lukeman from becoming the fourth player to do a double today.
