Fallon Sherrock admits she got her schedule wrong in 2022 “I just did the Women’s Series, it wasn’t good enough and I will be brutally honest,”
Sherrock has been under the spotlight ever since that history-making run at the 2020 PDC World Championships. 2022 was the lowest of her career but the Queen of the Palace knows what she did wrong and how to put that right.
The PDC World Series resumed in 2022 following the forced break due to the pandemic. Sherrock took her place in all five events that she had been awarded following that run at the World Championships. But Sherrock looks back at the lack of quality practice away from the events.
Sherrock has been one of the top players on the exhibition circuit for the past few years, and she also competed in the World Series last year, but she admits that this has slightly hindered her.
Sherrock acknowledged that with only the Women’s Series and the occasional WDF tournament on her calendar away from the TV, her match practice wasn’t as good as it should have been.
She has resumed playing on the Challenge Tour, which she now realises was a big mistake “It’s all about consistency especially my game at the moment, I think last year when I just did the Women’s Series, it wasn’t good enough and I will be brutally honest,”
“It weren’t great for my match practice or anything like that. It was good to get there but in hindsight I need to play Challenge Tour, I need to do the MODUS Super Series. I need to play the best players I can to improve my game and hopefully this year this is what I’m going to do.”
“Play more competitive and boost my game and get it back to where it was.”
