Televised Return For van Barneveld as 2021 UK Open Boards are Allocated.

Raymond van Barneveld will return to our TV screens to face Alan Soutar in one of nine main stage games on Friday afternoon, marking his first return to televised darts since his disappointing World Championship in 2019 when he retired from the sport.

Berry van Peer and Martin Schindler, both former World Youth Championship finalists, open the TV matches with two first-round clashes.

Man of the moment, Danny Baggish will face Brett Claydon. Baggish backed up his brilliant run at Ally Pally by winning his tour card at Q-School. The American can, through both stages of Q-School in the most remarkable fashion.

All the Stage Two action can be viewed on PDC TV on Friday and Saturday. Callan Rydz, Ross Smith, Jim Williams, Zoran Lerchbacher, Richie Burnett and Geert Nentjes all find themselves ob stage two.

While the first-round winners will be joined by Tour Card holders 65-96 in round two, including the match between Van Barneveld and Soutar.

The Top 32 in the world enter the event on Friday evening, including Michael van Gerwen, Gerwyn Price, Peter Wright and Gary Anderson, but in the UK Open, there is no seeding protection.

The action continues on Saturday, March 7, with the fifth and sixth round before the tournament concludes on Sunday with an open draw every round.
