Amateur Darts Circuit announces continued expansion in 2024 with the Red Dragon Doubles Cup and UK & Ireland Classic.

The ADC continues to grow in 2024 with two brand new events added to the calendar.

The Doubles Cup will feature 32 qualifying tournaments around the United Kingdom and Ireland, with the 32 champions competing at the National Finals.  The National Finals of the UK & Ireland Classic will feature the top 32 performers in the Regional and UK tables by the end of June 2024.

The programme was launched to diversify the membership offering and give something back to players across the globe. It will attempt to boost the events within the ADC system by offering a total prize fund of £28,400.

Scott Hunt, ADC Head of Global Operations, said: “I am extremely excited to unveil these two new events and continue to offer a little more to our valued members.

“The idea behind the UK & Ireland Classic is to give a little more incentive to gaining those Regional and National ranking points. We will see players battle throughout the year for the top 2 regional spots. The cut-off point will be at the end of June every year. You can also qualify by placing high up in the UK Ranking Table and also via additional qualifying events after the cut-off point.

“The Red Dragon Doubles Cup…. well, who doesn’t love a good game of pairs with their mate! We are hoping we unearth some more talent via this competition and feel it adds a little bit more added spice to an already exciting events lineup.”

Both events will conclude at the ADC National Finals Weekend in October 2024, which will take place at Eston Sports Academy, Middlesbrough.

The Finals Weekend will feature ‘The VAULT National Finals, Womens Singles Leagues Finals, Womens VAULT Finals, The Red Dragon Doubles Cup Finals and UK & Ireland Classic Finals’.
