Henderson and Noppert head the invites for the World Series of Darts finals

John Henderson and Danny Noppert head the invites for the World Series of Darts finals

Henderson will make his World Series of Darts debut, while Danny Noppert will also return to the event where he was runner-up in 2019.

World Cup winner Henderson and World Grand Prix semi-finalist Noppert are among the newest players to be invited to the 2021 Jack World Series of Darts Finals.

The £300,000 tournament, which will take place at AFAS Live in Amsterdam from October 29-31.

Henderson will compete for the first time in the World Series of Darts, while Noppert will return is not much of a surprise given his form and history with this tournament.

The four Dutch Invited Players are Noppert, 2020 World Grand Prix runner-up Dirk van Duijvenbode, Vincent van der Voort, a four-time PDC ranking event winner, and Jeffrey de Zwaan, a previous World Matchplay semi-finalist.

Henderson is one of four International Invited Players, joining world number 13 Krzysztof Ratajski, German number one Gabriel Clemens, and Latvian Madars Razma, who have already confirmed their spots in the competition.

The next four players from the PDC Order of Merit not already invited are UK Open winner James Wade, Grand Slam champion Jose de Sousa, world number nine Michael Smith, and World Championship semi-finalist Dave Chisnall.

The eight players invited prior to the World Grand Prix included reigning champion Gerwyn Price, four-time winner Michael van Gerwen, world number two Peter Wright, and history-maker Fallon Sherrock.

On Monday, October 18, the final four players will be determined from the Tour Card Holder Qualifier.
