Littler heads to Madison Square Garden as US Darts Masters lineup is confirmed.
Luke Littler will make his bet365 US Darts Masters debut at Madison Square Garden later this year, as eight PDC representatives have been confirmed for the World Series of Darts event in New York.
Teenage pathfinder Littler has made global headlines in recent months, reaching the World Championship final and winning the Bahrain Darts Masters on his World Series debut in January.
The 17-year-old phenom will now aim for a second World Series of Darts title when the sport’s top players face eight North American representatives in The Theatre at Madison Square Garden on May 31 and June 1.
Luke Humphries, the world number one, and incumbent champion Michael van Gerwen will lead the star-studded 16-player competition, which also includes previous US Darts Masters champions Michael Smith and Nathan Aspinall.
Three more former World Champions, Peter Wright, Gerwyn Price, and Rob Cross, will also return to ‘The Big Apple’ as the PDC makes its third visit to New York.
The eight North American opponents will be led by PDC Tour Card holders Matt Campbell, Jules van Dongen, and Danny Lauby, with Grand Slam of Darts quarter-finalist Stowe Buntz secured of qualification after winning the 2023 CDC Continental Cup.
Following April’s event in Michigan City, Indiana, the 2024 CDC Cross-Border Challenge winner will join three other players from the CDC Qualifiers, which will take place from May 17-19.
Along with the US Darts Masters, the bet365 North American Championship will take place on Saturday, June 1, when eight North American contenders compete for the title and a spot in the 2024/25 Paddy Power World Darts Championship.
