The 2023 World Seniors Matchplay Draw
The draw for the 2023 World Seniors Darts Matchplay has been finished by the WSDT. On the 2nd and 3rd of September, 16 dart players over 50 will contend in York for the Matchplay title.
Robert Thornton is the tournament’s reigning champion and is The World Seniors Darts Matchplay top seed, The Scot will face WDF world champion Neil Duff. With the winner facing either Trina Gulliver or Richie Howson in round two.
The 16-time world champion Phil Taylor faces the three-time world champion John Part in the opening round as the pair do battle again, while Martin Adams faces Kevin Painter.
Leonard Gates, a two-time senior world champion, will start his quest for a hat trick of titles against Colin McGarry, and the three-times Lakeside champion Glen Durrant opens up against qualifier Jim McEwan. John Henderson will make his World Seniors debut against the former Masters champion David Cameron.
