Littler racks up fourth Premier League win to tie the record at only halfway “It’s another night win and another trophy, so I’m delighted,”
On Night Eight of the BetMGM Premier League in Newcastle, Luke Littler won a record-tying fourth successful night.
Littler, who also won four nights in the 2024 campaign, equalling Jonny Clayton’s total from 2022, defeated world number one Luke Humphries 6-1 in the final at the Utilita Arena.
The young star began the night with a 109.98 average in a 6-0 quarter-final victory against Stephen Bunting, then defeated Rob Cross 6-3 in the semi-finals.
“It’s another night win and another trophy, so I’m delighted,” said Littler.
“It’s more points on the board and I’m sitting comfortably at the top of the table now, so I should be even more settled going into the next few weeks.
“Me and Luke both said we felt tired before the final, so I’m just happy to get over the line.
“I’m playing too well for players not to be thinking about playing me, rather than just playing the board.”

The last match between the world’s top two saw both players struggle to achieve their fluent best, with Humphries missing nine of ten double attempts, allowing Littler to win the title.
Humphries was unable to reproduce his 106.73 average, which helped him defeat Nathan Aspinall 6-5 in the semi-finals, after denying Chris Dobey a fairytale homecoming with a 6-3 victory in the quarter-finals.
Littler now leads by eight points, while Humphries is five points ahead of Michael van Gerwen in third place.
Price, Cross, and Aspinall are in contention for the Play-Offs, while Dobey and Bunting are in last place.
