PDC confirm refreshed ITV darts broadcast team ahead of 2026 campaign

ITV has revealed a revamped on-screen team for its darts coverage as preparations continue for the start of the 2026 PDC season.

The broadcaster secured a new three-year agreement with the PDC last October, guaranteeing that darts will remain available to free-to-air audiences on ITV4 and ITVX until at least 2028.

Under the extended deal, ITV will continue to show a packed schedule of major PDC tournaments, including the World Masters, UK Open, European Championship, Players Championship Finals and the World Series of Darts Finals. Coverage will also include every global World Series of Darts event.

New presenters take centre stage

One notable change sees the PDC take responsibility for event production, with Pete Graves and Gabbie Partington named as the lead presenters across ITV’s darts output.

Partington will front coverage of the upcoming World Series of Darts events in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, building on her experience hosting the Ladies European Tour Aramco Team Series in the Middle East.

The 32-year-old has also delivered live darts broadcasts for talkSPORT, while hosting The Darts Show Live during both the World Darts Championship and the World Matchplay.

Graves, meanwhile, brings extensive broadcasting experience after joining Sky Sports News in 2009. Now 43, he has presented live football and rugby union coverage and will lead ITV’s coverage of the Winmau World Masters, which takes place at Arena MK in Milton Keynes from January 29 to February 1.

Familiar faces in the studio

The refreshed punditry line-up will feature a blend of well-known voices from the sport. Wayne Mardle, a five-time World Championship semi-finalist and one of darts’ most recognisable personalities, is included after more than a decade with Sky Sports.

He is joined by former Premier League champion Glen Durrant, who became part of Sky Sports’ darts coverage in 2023.

Welshman Mark Webster, a regular presence on ITV’s World Series broadcasts in recent years, will continue to play a key role, while Chris Mason remains part of the team after contributing to ITV’s coverage since 2010.

Commentary team confirmed

The commentary line-up will be led by Dan Dawson, a familiar voice to fans through his work with Sky Sports and as the lead commentator on the PDC European Tour.

He will be joined by Mark Wilson and Ian Danter. Wilson has featured prominently on talkSPORT’s darts coverage and regularly commentates across World Series, European Tour and Players Championship events.

Danter, a long-standing member of the talkSPORT team for more than 20 years, has been a key figure in radio darts coverage, calling action from the World Championship, World Matchplay and Premier League over the last decade.
