PDC double streaming boards a the Players Championships

Two additional streamed boards will begin live-broadcasting Players Championship events this weekend, giving darts fans more action than ever before.

Two streamed boards have been present at Players Championship events in recent years, providing worldwide coverage from the PDC’s crucial ProTour.

Players Championships 11–12, held May 20–21 at Leicester’s Morningside Arena, will now feature live match coverage from two additional streamed boards on PDCTV and bookmakers’ websites.

With the additional boards, each Players Championship event will feature 39 more live matches that will be broadcast on PDCTV.

PDC Chief Executive Matthew Porter commented: “We are pleased to be able to increase our offering of live matches from Players Championship events.

“This development follows on from the success of our UK Open coverage which saw all eight boards streamed live from Minehead in March.

“It is a natural extension of our streaming coverage to allow fans to see more of their favourite stars in action during Players Championships, and will provide additional value for PDCTV subscribers.”

During each event, viewers will be able to choose which PDCTV board to watch by using the toggle next to the video player.

Ten of the year’s 30 tournaments have already taken place, and PDCTV broadcasts all Players Championship events live.

At 1300 local time, each Players Championship competition will begin.
