Dimitri Van den Bergh is still unsure who he will partner at the World Cup of Darts.
With the World Cup of Darts under three weeks away, the Belgium team is still to be confirmed. The Belgium pair is due to be Dimitri Van den Bergh and Kim Huybrechts.
However, it is still unclear whether the latter will be able to play after suffering a double collarbone fracture in an incident at the Belgian Cup final a few weeks ago.
After being carried to the hospital following a brawl, Huybrechts was diagnosed with a double break to his collarbone.
Huybrechts attended the cup final between Royal Antwerp FC and Union St Gilloise in the Belgian capital Brussels. Union supporters attacked Huybrechts and his friend on their approach to the supporters’ bus.

Captain Van den Bergh admits he doesn’t know if Huybrechts will prove his fitness to the PDC in time to play in Frankfurt.
“The only thing I can say is that I’ve got no knowledge,” he explains of the uncertainty surrounding the current situation with Huybrechts. “Our contracts with the PDC states that you need to prove you are at 100% ability. There is a reason it says to be confirmed.”
Van den Bergh spoke to us about his comeback to the World Series of Darts, and the 29-year-old Belgian nad hoped to achieve even more success in Copenhagen. “It’s always an honour to play for the PDC. Van den Bergh explains that it is an honour bestowed upon you. “I was allowed to play in Holland, I’m here now playing in Denmark and I’m doing good.”
