Jason Lowe Defeats Michael Smith “He was shouting a bit and I thought I’ve got you here”
Lowe produced a fantastic performance to beat Michael Smith three sets to one, in the final game of round two of the World Darts Championship.
Jason shot out the blocks winning the first six legs, to take a commanding two set lead. Michael Smith showed his quality in set three, before Jason Lowe took advantage of a frustrated Bully Boy to win his place in the third round.
In his press conference, Jason said “I’m very happy with the result. I played tonight with no pressure whatsoever”
“I just thought play my game tonight and I’ll see what happens”
Jason Lowe also discussed taking advantage of Michael’s frustrations
“I was getting jittery towards the end, but I could feel he was getting frustrated & that made me play even better.”

Lowe will now play Devon Petersen in the third round, in the evening session on the 29th December. Jason is feeling confident going into the match against the African Warrior
” I don’t watch other matches. He can be playing fantastic or poorly, I’m not bothered I should just turn up on the night”
” I do have the belief. I’ve always said the hard thing I found, was getting through Q School. If I get a tour card, I’ll keep it. I feel as a top 32 player”
