2025 World Grand Prix Draw confirmed

Luke Humphries and Luke Littler were given blockbuster fixtures against Nathan Aspinall and Gian van Veen, respectively, while Mike De Decker will start his defence of the BOYLE Sports World Grand Prix against Peter Wright.

The draw for next week’s event has been confirmed, and De Decker, who defeated Humphries to celebrate World Grand Prix victory a year ago, will start his attempt to win back-to-back titles against Wright, the 2018 runner-up.

The world number one will begin his championship challenge against 2022 runner-up Aspinall in what may be the match of the round. Humphries won the double-start title in 2023.

As two of the sport’s most exciting players compete for a spot in round two, World Champion Littler and World Youth Champion Van Veen also reignite their rivalry.

The world’s top 16 players will compete against the top 16 players from the one-year ProTour rankings in this unusual double-start event, which will take place at Leicester’s Mattioli Arena from October 6–12.
