2025 Hungarian Darts Trophy draw & schedule
The draw and schedule for this weekend’s PDC European Tour event have been confirmed, and Michael van Gerwen will start his defence of the Hungarian Darts Trophy against either Andrew Gilding or Matthew Dennant.
A 48-player field will compete for the £30,000 top prize in Budapest this weekend, and Van Gerwen is one of four former champions in an all-star lineup at the MVM Dome.

NB: From the original entries, Jonny Clayton, Gary Anderson and Boris Krcmar have withdrawn from the event, and have been replaced from the Reserve List by Richard Veenstra, Kim Huybrechts and Matthew Dennant, with Martin Schindler and Mike De Decker moving into the seeded positions.
Format – All games up to and including the quarter-finals are the best of 11 legs, with the semi-finals the best of 13 legs and the final the best of 15 legs.

NB: Pre-qualified players who lose in their first match of the Event shall not be credited with prize money on the Order of Merit, ProTour Order of Merit or European Tour Order of Merit, however they shall still receive full prize money payment
All the action gets underway this Friday and is not to be missed as the race for Dortmund hots up for the European Championships.
The third round will be played on Sunday afternoon after the excitement from the second round on Saturday. The competition will end with the quarterfinals, semifinals, and final in an exciting evening session.
