Bunting gets the World Series call to replace van Gerwen and Price for Copenhagen and Poland
In June, Stephen Bunting will compete in the World Series of Darts in the Superbet Poland Darts Masters and the Mr. Vegas Nordic Darts Masters.
Bunting, who is a crowd favourite, won his first-ever televised PDC victory at The Masters in February. This came after a stellar 2023 in which he advanced to two quarterfinals and a semi-final in TV ranking tournaments.
The former star of the Premier League will make a comeback to the international scene next month. He previously made it to the 2014 Sydney Darts Masters final and participated in the 2015 World Series of Darts Finals.
In the Nordic Darts Masters and the Poland Darts Masters, Bunting will take Michael van Gerwen’s position.
June 7-8 at Forum Copenhagen will host the Nordic Darts Masters. On June 14–15 at PreZero Arena Gliwice, the Superbet Poland Darts Masters will take place.
Eight PDC stars will compete for coveted World Series titles against their regional equivalents at each tournament.
Jacek Krupka won the second Polish qualifier and György Jehirszki won the Hungarian qualifier, completing the lineup for the Poland Darts Masters.
