Luke Littler will be part of the 2024 Premier League Darts.

The 16-year old sensation, who caused a stir around the world by becoming the youngest PDC World Darts Championship finalist in history, will be taking to the stage every Thursday night in venues across the UK and Europe. The 20th edition of the event begins on 1 February in Cardiff, with the Play-Offs on Thursday 23 May.

The Nuke previously said that he thought the PDC would keep him out of the event. However, record breaking figures for it’s main broadcast partner Sky Sports, the wider sports interest and the new fans Littler has brought to the sport, meant that it was difficult to see how he could be left out.

MvG the only former winner in event

Joining Littler in the 2024 Premier League Darts will be the new world number one and 2023/24 Paddy Power World Darts Champion, Luke Humphries.

Michael van Gerwen, the only former winner of this event in this year’s line up, will be taking part in his 12th successive Premier League. MvG took home the trophy last year again for the seventh time, breaking the record held by Phil Taylor. Last year’s runner-up, Gerwyn Price, also returns to the line up.

The remaining names have all been finalists in this event in the past. Michael Smith, the world number three, and Nathan Aspinall, world number four and World Matchplay champion, are also included for another year.

The final two names included are European Champion Peter Wright, and two time World Series event winner in 2023, as well as losing Grand Slam finalist Rob Cross. All of the five players, as well as Humphries and Littler, will be aiming to take the title away from Van Gerwen, in an event he has called his own for the majority of its existence.
