Luke Littler maintains his title charge in Liverpool as he tops the Premier League after Night 13.

The 2023 World Youth Champion defied a fired-up crowd to pick up his 3rd night win and to all but confirm that he will be playing on Finals Night at the O2 Arena in London.

It puts the 17-year old in pole position to top the league phase in his debut campaign, as he goes 5 points clear of Luke Humphries with just 3 weeks to go.

Lively in Liverpool

It was Littler who kicked the night off in Liverpool with a win against Gerwyn Price, regaining top spot in the Premier League after Humphries was beaten by last weeks winner Aspinall in his first game.

Despite a very sluggish start from the reigning 7-time Premier League Champion, Michael Van Gerwen booked his spot in the second Semi-Final with a 6-3 win over rock-bottom Wright, reeling off 5 consecutive legs.

Michael Smith’s play-off hopes were dented as he was dumped out by Rob Cross. It was the first win in the Premier League for Cross since Night 6.

As expected, the first Semi-Final between Luke Littler and Nathan Aspinall didn’t disappoint. It was a drama riddled game with the Stockport slinger missing 5 match darts in 2 separate legs to beat the young prodigy. Littler defied a ruthless Liverpool crowd to get over the line in a deciding leg, all but confirming his spot at the O2 in the process.

It was a doubling disasterclass for Van Gerwen against Cross, hitting just 2/18 on the outer ring, as Voltage breezed to his first final since Night 5 in Exeter with a 6-2 success.

The Nuke kicked off the final with a superb 111 finish on his favoured D20 to break the Cross throw, before a ‘pop-pop’ 86 finish on D16 to take a commanding 2-0 lead.

Littler did not stop as he flew into a commanding 5-0 lead, before Cross put an end to the possibility of the first whitewash of this years Premier League, picking up 2 legs to make it acceptable.

The Warrington ace sealed the win in Liverpool pinning his trademark D10 to win 6-2.
