PDC Confirms 2024 Calendar New Destinations And All Midweek Players Championships.

Over 170 days of darts competition will take place on the 2024 PDC calendar, with trips to new locations and all midweek Players Championship tournaments among the highlights.

The PDC European Tour will make its debut in Switzerland the following year. From February to October 2024, 13 three-day tournaments will be held in a record seven countries, including a new tournament in Antwerp as the sport continues to expand in Belgium.

All 30 Players Championship competitions will be held for the first time in 2024 on midweek days in Wigan, Leicester, Hildesheim, and Milton Keynes.

The PDC Qualifying Schools, which will be held from January 8–14 with two stages of play in Milton Keynes, England (UK Q School) and Kalkar, Germany (European Q School), will take centre stage after the 2023–24 World Darts Championship is over. The first of 16 league phase nights will be held in Cardiff on February 1, kicking off the Premier League season in Wales. On May 23, the season will come to a close with the Play-Offs at The O2 in London.

The top 24 players in the world compete in The Masters in Milton Keynes from February 2–4, continuing a busy start to the year.

The UK Open, a perennially well-liked annual darts event, will occur at Butlin’s Minehead Resort from March 1–3.

Before 32 of the biggest stars in the world travel to Blackpool for the World Matchplay from July 13–21, the World Cup of Darts will be held there from June 27–30.

On July 21, eight of the best female athletes will compete in the third edition of the Women’s World Matchplay at the Winter Gardens.

The World Series of Darts Finals will once again be held in Amsterdam from September 13–15, followed by the World Grand Prix from October 7–13.

The European Championship will be held in Dortmund from October 24-27 and will include the top 32 players on the European Tour Order of Merit. The Grand Slam of Darts will be held in Wolverhampton from November 9–17.

The Players Championship Finals, which will be held in Minehead from November 22–24, will include the top 64 competitors from the final Players Championship Order of Merit.

In addition to offering spots in televised events like the Women’s World Matchplay and World Darts Championship, the PDC Women’s Series will once again feature 24 events at venues in the UK and Germany over six double-header weekends.

Players from around the world will compete in 24 tournaments as part of the Challenge and Development Tours for spots in TV tournaments. The World Youth Championships will again see the group stages played in October before the final in Minehead.
