The PDC Euro Tour returns today for ET 6 as the Czech Darts Open draw gets underway in Prague


We won’t see the seeds enter the action until Saturday, but there are lots of well-known names in action.

The draw and schedule of play for the year’s sixth PDC European Tour event, the Gambrinus Czech Darts Open, have been confirmed, with number one seed Gerwyn Price facing either Adrian Lewis or Ted Evetts in the second round.

The £140,000 tournament, which will be place at Hala Kralovka in Prague from Friday to Sunday, will feature world number two Price and three-time 2022 European Tour event winner Michael van Gerwen.

The afternoon session of Friday’s first round will feature a match between rising talent Josh Rock and in-form Ricky Evans.

In the evening’s action, Nathan Aspinall takes against John Henderson, Vincent van der Voort and Geert Nentjes compete in an all-Dutch match, and Lewis takes on Evetts, a previous European Tour event champion.

The seeded players begin their quest for a fourth European Tour title in round two on Saturday, with Van Gerwen facing either Jon Worsley or Vitezslav Sedlak, one of the four Host Nation Qualifiers from Thursday evening.

Adam Gawlas and Karel Sedlacek, the top two Czech players on the PDC Order of Merit, will open their careers against Dennie Olde Kalter and Gabriel Clemens, respectively.

The last 16 will be played in the afternoon session on Sunday, followed by the quarter-finals, semi-finals, and final in the evening.
