2023 Betfred Women’s World Matchplay Preview
The 2023 Betfred Women’s World Matchplay takes place on Sunday afternoon, as eight of the sport’s leading stars battle it out at Blackpool’s Winter Gardens.
The second staging of the £25,000 event will see the top eight players from the rolling 12-month Women’s Series Order of Merit competing in the prestigious knockout event.
Fallon Looking To Defend

Fallon Sherrock defeated Aileen de Graaf in last years final, but comes in to this tournament as second favourite.
Bookies favourite Beau Greaves kicks off her title challenge against Dutch debutant Noa-Lynn van Leuven.
Elsewhere, second seed Mikuru Suzuki plays last year’s runner-up Aileen de Graaf, with Robyn Byrne and Rhian O’Sullivan set to collide in the other quarter-final tussle.
The semi-finals and final will take place later in the afternoon, and the winner will qualify for November’s Grand Slam of Darts as well as the 2023/24 Paddy Power World Darts Championship.
