Fallon Sherrock MBE leads the names of players to progress to stage two in Milton Keynes & Kalkar.

Eight more players automatically progressed to stage two from Milton Keynes, with a further seven securing their spot through the Order of Merit.

Fallon Sherrock who is looking to become the second female player to join the PDC Professional tour, started opened up day two with back-to-back 5-1 wins over David Davies and Ryan Hogarth.

Sherrock survived a match dart against Adrian Gray in a top 64 clash, before following that up with back to back 90+ averages to defeat Paul Redfern 5-3, followed by a whitewash win over Brett Claydon to secure her place in Stage Two.

Former PDC World Championship Finalist Andy Hamilton also secured his spot in Stage Two, defeating Thomas Lovely in the last eight. Thomas Lovely is one of the seven players who are unable to be caught on the Order of Merit.

Other qualifiers from Milton Keynes automatically were Patrik Williams, Shane McGuirk, Kevin Lane, Charlie Martin, Jamie Atkins, and Chris Quantock.

Qualifiers from Milton Keynes based on Order of Merit were Kevin Thomas, Thomas Lovely, Thomas Banks, Alex Spellman, Thomas Cromwell, Daniel Astbury, and Liam Goyne.

Players such as Mark Dudbridge, Jim McEwan, Ashley Coleman and Dan Read currently sit on five points in the Order of Merit standings and can be considered as good as through.

Andy Baetens is through to Q School Final Stage

Andy Baetens leads the names from Kalkar to secure his place in the second and final stage after a string of impressive performances.

The Lakeside winner beat compatriots Roberto Vandaele and Pascal de Clercq for the loss of just one leg and followed that up with a whitewash of Dutchman Wim Hofsink. Mareno Michels was beaten next, Baetens losing just his second leg of the day on way to victory in that one before wins over Patrick Geeraets and Poland’s Miroslaw Grudziecki secured his spot in the final stage.

Former tour card holder Ron Meulenkamp is another player through to Thursday’s action as he continued his decent form of late. Having reached the Modus Super Series final at the weekend, ‘The Bomb’ reached the last 32 on Monday and followed that up to make the final stage, however things could have been so different with the Dutchman having to recover from 4-2 down in his opening match of the day.

Other qualifiers from Kalkar were Pal Szekely, Roman Benecky, Romeo Grbavac, Liam Maendl-Lawrence, Paul Krohne and Angelo Balsamo.

Qualifiers from Kalkar based on Order of Merit were Patrick Tringler, Ryuta Arihara, Joerg Mitterlehner and Jeroen Mioch.

Players such as Jelle Klaasen, John Michael, Jesus Noguera and Michael Unterbuchner currently sit on five points in the Order of Merit standings and can be considered as good as through.
