Everything is on the line next week in Aberdeen when Jonny Clayton and Nathan Aspinall go head to head with a place at the O2 at stake. After Sheffield Clayton holds a two-point advantage.

The pair will meet in the quarter-finals at the P&J Live. A win for Clayton will see the Welshman take the final spot at the playoffs ,a feat that Clayton has never failed to do. Aspinall will need to reach the final if he is to take that final playoff Clayton.

If Aspainll beats Clayton but then loses in the semi-final, the duo will be level on points, but Clayton will finish above the Stockport man due to winning two Premier League nights to Apsinall’s one.

“It’s massive obviously yeah. In a game of darts, all the pressure is on Nathan next week, he has to win. If I win I’m through so really speaking the ball is in my court because like I say, if I win I’m through.”

“I’m just going to try and go out, relax and play my game. Easier said than done,” Clayton continues. “You win two nights you’ve always got a chance of top 4. That’s what has helped me out and hopefully I can get there.”
