Nordic Darts Masters Draw and Schedule Confirmed
Dimitri Van den Bergh will begin his defence of the Nordic Darts Masters title against Madars Razma in a thrilling first-round tie next Friday at Forum Copenhagen.
On January 20-21, a 16-player field will compete in the third staging of the Nordic Darts Masters, the second PDC World Series of Darts event of the year.
In the first round of the event, eight top PDC stars, including reigning champion Van den Bergh and World Champion Michael Smith, will face the top eight players from the Nordic and Baltic regions.
Van den Bergh, who won in Copenhagen last year, will face top-ranked Latvian ace Razma in the first round’s standout match as the Belgian looks to defend his title.
Smith, who won the Bahrain Darts Masters on Friday, will be looking for his third consecutive tournament victory as he travels to Copenhagen, where he will face Lithuania’s Darius Labanauskas.
Gerwyn Price, the runner-up in the Bahrain Darts Masters, will face Denmark’s Benjamin Drue Reus, while third seed Rob Cross will face another home hope, Vladimir Andersen.
Peter Wright, the fourth seed, has drawn Dennis Nilsson of Sweden, who will face Jonny Clayton and 2021 champion Michael van Gerwen, respectively.
In the other first-round match on Friday, world number five Luke Humphries will face Finland’s Marko Kantele, before the tournament concludes over two sessions on Saturday.
