The 2024 World Series Finals Invites Confirmed.

Leading the field for the 2024 Jack’s World Series of Darts Finals in Amsterdam next month are reigning champion Michael van Gerwen, world-ranked player Luke Humphries, and juvenile sensation Luke Littler.

At the AFAS Live, the three-day invitational tournament will have an increased 32-player field, with 24 of the qualifiers already guaranteed for September’s main event.

Iconic Dutchman Van Gerwen, who won the Dutch Darts Masters in January, will be aiming for a record-breaking sixth World Series Finals victory on home ground from September 13–15.

World Champion Humphries, who won the New Zealand Darts Masters last weekend, and top seed Littler, who won in Bahrain and Poland in his debut season, will be joining Van Gerwen.

After winning the Nordic and Australian Darts Masters this year, Gerwyn Price will start as the number two seed when he returns to the Dutch capital. Price won the World Series Finals in 2022.

Together with world number two Michael Smith, two-time World Champion Peter Wright, and UK Open champion Dimitri Van den Bergh, Rob Cross, the winner of the US Darts Masters, will also be among the names seeded.

Nine more players from the World Series of Darts Order of Merit will participate alongside Damon Heta, Nathan Aspinall, and Stephen Bunting, who have all appeared as PDC representatives on the World Series stage in 2024.

Raymond van Barneveld, a five-time world champion, will return home with fellow citizens Gian van Veen, Kevin Doets, and Danny Noppert, the runner-up in the 2019 World Series of Darts Finals.

After competing in August’s Oceanic doubleheader, Australian mainstay Simon Whitlock and New Zealand’s Haupai Puha will make a comeback. Additionally scheduled to compete are Croatia’s Boris Krcmar, Sweden’s Johan Engstrom, and Canada’s Jeff Smith.

The top four players from the PDC Order of Merit who had not yet qualified are Dave Chisnall, Jonny Clayton, Ross Smith, and Chris Dobey. 2021 champion Clayton is attempting to win a second World Series Finals championship.

The 32-player field’s last eight spots will be determined after this week’s Tour Card Holder Qualifier in Milton Keynes.
