Three more years of BoyleSports at the World Grand Prix.

BoyleSports has extended their title sponsorship of the World Grand Prix for another three years, ahead of its return to Dublin in 2022.

Since 2019, when Michael van Gerwen won his sixth title at the Citywest Convention Centre, the biggest Irish bookmaker has been the title sponsor of the historic double-start event.

Gerwyn Price and Jonny Clayton have won the title in Coventry and Leicester, respectively, in the last two years.

However, the event’s anticipated return to Dublin’s Citywest Convention Centre next year has been boosted by BoyleSports’ three-year extension of its backing.

“BoyleSports have been a valued sponsor of the PDC for many years across a number of tournaments, but the World Grand Prix is a perfect fit for them and we’re delighted that they will continue as title sponsors until at least 2024,” said PDC Chief Executive Matt Porter.

“The BoyleSports World Grand Prix is synonymous with Dublin and we’re all looking forward to taking the event back there in 2022 for one of the highlights of the PDC calendar.”

Mark Kemp, Chief Executive of BoyleSports, said: “BoyleSports are delighted to continue our strong commitment to the PDC and world darts by extending our sponsorship of one of the biggest and best events on the PDC calendar.

“The BoyleSports World Grand Prix will be back in October 2022 and we are already looking forward to seeing the world’s best players pitted against each other in the unique format.

It will be great to see our 2021 champion Jonny Clayton try to defend his title at the Citywest Hotel in Dublin in front of an Irish crowd.”

This is the perfect boost ahead to the return to the Emerald Isle in 2022.
