2021 PDC World Championships Field Confirmed
The field for the 2021 PDC World Championships has been confirmed, following the conclusion of the PDPA Qualifiers. The final eight spots were filled on Monday giving us the 96 player field.
The 28th PDC World Championship will feature the top 32 players from the Order of Merit. Then the next highest 32 ranked players ProTour Order of Merit. The final 32 are International Qualifiers.
The sport’s showpiece event will be held from December 15, 2020, to January 3, 2021, at London’s Alexandra Palace; there is hope that 1,000 fans per session subject to approval by the local authorities.
2.5 million pounds in prize money will be on the line for the 96 players. This year’s tournament will have it all one the line from the number one spot in the world, players tour cards and of course, being crowned World Champion.

A tie-break will be in operation in all round from the second round onwards, where the final set must be won by two clear legs. If the score reaches five-all, the 11th leg will be a sudden-death leg.
