2022 Hungarian Darts Trophy draw & schedule

The draw and game schedule for this weekend’s European Tour tournament have been released, and Gerwyn Price will face either Franz Roetzsch or Madars Razma to start the Hungarian Darts Trophy defence.

The European Tour resumes play with the tenth tournament of the year taking place at the BOK Sportcsarnok in Budapest from Friday through Sunday after a two-month break.

For the first time since April, Raymond van Barneveld will play in a European Tour competition on Friday when the Dutchman faces off against Rowby-John Rodriguez.

The four Host Nation Qualifiers, Janos Vegso, Levente Sarai, Andras Borbely, and Pal Szekely will fly the Hungarian flag.

In the second round of the tournament on Saturday, Price faces either Roetzsch or Razma, while the top seed, Michael van Gerwen, will take on either Simon Whitlock or Vegso.

While Luke Humphries begins his quest for a fifth European Tour victory of the year against either Boris Krcmar or Sarai, Peter Wright will face either Brett Claydon or Jim Williams.

The last 16 will take place in the afternoon session of Sunday’s Finals Day, followed by the quarterfinals, semifinals, and final in the evening.
