MvG started full of confidence and a 134 checkout to break in the second leg seem to have an immediate impact on Snakebite.
The power scoring from Michael continued, and he restricted Wright to just two darts at a double all game and an average just short of 100 completed a perfect night for MvG.

It was a sensational evening for The Green Machine, going into the UK Open by only dropping three legs. They came in his first two games after beating Clayton 6-1 and Smith 6-2.
Peter Wright booked his place in the final with a dominant 6-2 win over James Wade, which was after he got his revenge on an under-par Gerwyn Price.
