The final night of the 2024 BetMGM Premier League takes place in the Utilita Arena in Sheffield, with the final play-off spot to be awarded in a crunch match between Nathan Aspinall and Michael Smith.

Night 15 saw Luke Humphries seal a fourth Nightly win in Leeds in front of a crowd filled with fans of the same football club as himself, with strong averages of 109.48, 102.84 and 99.99 produced on the night.

The All Important Final Play-Off Spot

The second game of the night is the all important match of the evening, with Nathan Aspinall and Michael Smith going head-to-head to determine which player claims the final play-off spot at the O2 next week.

The last two weeks has seen Aspinall stall on 25 points allowing Smith to catch-up with two wins in the last two weeks to put himself in close proximity.

Both players have sealed Nightly wins earlier in the campaign, with Aspinall winning one more than his fellow countryman.

First vs Last

Luke Littler currently lies top of the table and is one victory away (providing Humphries wins the Night) of winning the Premier League table phase on debut.

He currently lies 5 points clear of the reigning world champion and will have a more favourable draw in Peter Wright who has only won two games this whole Premier League campaign.

Humphries vs Price

Humphries will be looking to continue his strong showings at the European Tour last weekend where he reached the final and hit a nine darter to claim top spot of the league.

Albeit the chances are slim, a top two finish in his debut campaign is an achievement that cannot be overstated as he has already booked his place in finals-night.

Price, however, will be looking to get back to match sharpness due to a lacklustre display last week due to him withdrawing due to injury.

MVG vs Cross

The final quarter-final encounter involves a matchup between Michael van Gerwen and Rob Cross, with the latter enjoying success on the European Tour last weekend.

With Cross winning his second European Tour title, his confidence will be to try end his Premier League campaign on a high. Though he won’t be able to lose his sixth placed position, he is still one of three players not to have picked up a Nightly win this campaign.
