The 2024 Grand Slam of Darts has arrived.

Where and when will the Grand Slam of Darts take place?
The event will take place from Saturday 9 to Sunday 17 November at the Aldersley Leisure Village in Wolverhampton.

Who’s involved in the Grand Slam of Darts?
There are 32 players involved in the tournament and have qualified by either:
- winning a TV tournament
- runner-up in a TV tournament
- winning on the European Tour
- being one of the top eight players in the Grand Slam of Darts Qualifier
- winning another PDC event away from the main Pro Tour
The Grand Slam of Darts is unique in that to start with, there is a group stage format. The groups look like this:

What’s the 2024 Grand Slam of Darts format?
Group Stage – First to 5 legs
Round Two – First to 10 legs
Quarter Finals – First to 16 legs
Semi Finals – First to 16 legs
Final – First to 16 legs
What’s the prize money?
The prize money for the 2024 staging remains the same as 2023. It’s broken down like this:
- Winner – £150,000
- Runner Up – £70,000
- Semi Finalists – £50,000
- Quarter Finalists – £25,000
- Last 16 – £12,250
- Third in group – £8,000
- Fourth in group – £5,000
- Group winner bonus – £3,500
MIchael Smith won this event in 2022, and will be defending £153,500 on his ranking. He beat Nathan Aspinall in the final, who did not qualify for this year’s edition, meaning The Asp will lose £73,500 on his ranking.
The Bully Boy could fall below Michael van Gerwen in the world rankings, depending on how far the pair go respectively.
