2025 PDC World Cup of Darts competing nations confirmed
India is scheduled to return to the yearly international darts festival in June, and the countries participating in the 2025 BetVictor World Cup of Darts have been confirmed.
Frankfurt’s Eissporthalle will host the 2025 BetVictor World Cup of Darts from June 12–15, with 40 teams vying for the coveted title and a £450,000 prize fund.
The 34 countries confirmed to compete are led by reigning champions England, and six more will be confirmed after qualifying tournaments.
With Nitin Kumar, a PDC Asian Tour event champion and World Championship qualifier last year, leading the development of the sport in the region, India will make its fourth World Cup of Darts appearance. The country last participated in the 2023 tournament.
After Players Championship 16 on Tuesday, May 13, pairings for nations with at least two players on the PDC Order of Merit will be confirmed.
After local qualifying to identify one or both competitors, representatives from nations with less than two players on the PDC Order of Merit will be confirmed.
In 2025, the World Cup of Darts will resume its well-liked all-doubles match format, with four days of competition featuring group and knockout phases.
Based on the two competing players’ lowest cumulative PDC Order of Merit rankings, the top four countries will be seeded and advance to the second round. For the round-robin first round, the remaining 36 teams—including 12 seeded nations—will be divided into 12 groups of three, with the victor of each group moving on.
A total of £80,000 in prize money will be awarded to the winners of the tournament, which will culminate in the semi-finals and final on Sunday evening. The second round, which will feature the final 16 nations, will be divided into two sessions on Saturday, June 14, followed by the quarter-finals on Sunday afternoon.
