The five time World Champion, and winner of this tournament in 2012, won one of the eight places available at the final qualifying event in Barnsley, returning to the event for the first time in three years.

Elsewhere, defending champion Jose De Sousa will play group matches against Luke Humphries, Mensur Suljovic and Matt Campbell.

Fallon Sherrock is in a group containing Peter Wright, Gabriel Clemens and Mike De Decker.
