2025 Winmau World Masters completed lineup and schedule
The qualifiers for the first edition of the newly reformed Winmau World Masters took place in Milton Keynes today with eight players booking their spot in the first round proper.
Kevin Doets continued his brilliant run of form with qualification to the televised rounds of the World Masters. ‘Hawkeye’ sealed his spot with wins over Andy Boulton, Radek Szaganski and a 2-0 last 16 win over the Irishman Dylan Slevin. Doets will face Peter Wright on Thursday night.
Bradley Brooks was one of only three players to come through the round robin phase to make their Winmau World Masters debut. ‘Bam Bam’ blitzed through a group consisting of Michelle Turetta and James Hurrell, before three consecutive 2-0 knockout wins against Ian White, Cam Crabtree and the seeded player Krzysztof Ratajski. Brooks is rewarded with a clash against recent World Championship finalist Michael van Gerwen.

The 2023 WDF World Champion Andy Baetens struggled in his opening year on the PDC Pro Tour but has kickstarted his 2025 season in fantastic fashion. He failed to drop a set against American Leonard Gates and young star Dominik Gruellich in the group stage and remained comfortable in the knockout stages to make his PDC major TV debut. He has a tough challenge however, he will play newly crowned Paddy Power World Champion Luke Littler.
Florian Hempel was the fourth man to book his place in the prestigious Winmau World Masters via the preliminary rounds. He dispatched of fellow German Gabriel Clemens in the Last 16 to set up a tie against the former World Champion Gerwyn Price. His highlight of the day being a 110 average over Mensur Suljovic in the Last 64.
After an abysmal 2024 season, nine-dart hero William Borland has started 2025 in perfect fashion. He beat Mickey Mansell in his final game 2-1 in sets to set up a tie against the reigning Masters champion and newly crowned Bahrain Master Stephen Bunting.
Possibly the most unsurprising victor today in Milton Keynes was Jermaine Wattimena. The ‘Machine Gun’ averaged in the late-90s in all of his three qualifying matches and will play the newly married Josh Rock in the opening match of the tournament.

The final qualifier for the 2025 Winmau World Masters was William O’Connor. The Irishman coming into the tournament off the back of an opening round exit at the World Championship so will be happy to have another chance on the big stage. He plays newly crowned Dutch Master Rob Cross tomorrow night.
