Who will come out on top in Leicester?

Gerwyn Price will be looking to be only the third person to defend a World Grand Prix title. The Welshman has had a mixed year at TV events this year which also including him missing out at this year’s Premier League due to a positive Covid-19 test.  The defending champion will know he’s got the better head to head record against his fellow Welshman including a convincing 11-3 win in Blackpool a number of months ago, with this on his mind he will know he can lift the trophy again

What a year it’s been for The Ferret. After winning the World Cup with Price at the end of 2020, Jonny used that win to push on and picked up The Masters in February and book his place in the Premier League. Making his first appearance in the full Premier League Jonny went on to lift the trophy defeat Jose de Sousa in the final. The Ferret will believe he can finally get the better of Gerwyn in what is going to be a great final
