The Dutch Darts Masters Draw and Schedule – Michael van Gerwen and UK Open champion Danny Noppert clash in round one.

The draw and schedule for this weekend’s World Series of Darts event in Amsterdam have been made, and the opening round of the 2022 Viaplay Dutch Darts Masters will include a match between Michael van Gerwen and Danny Noppert.

The winner of Friday night’s opening round matches will feature Van Gerwen taking on reigning UK Open champion Noppert in his return from arm surgery.

The third PDC World Series of Darts competition of the year will take place at the Ziggo Dome on June 24 and 25, pitting the top eight Dutch dart players against eight of the PDC’s elite stars.

The first day will feature a match between the eight invited PDC players and the Dutch representatives, featuring a mouthwatering match between World Champion Peter Wright and Dutch World Cup semifinalist Dirk van Duijvenbode.

While Dimitri Van den Bergh, the winner of the Nordic Darts Masters, begins his quest for back-to-back World Series titles against Ron Meulenkamp, top seed and US Darts Masters champion Michael Smith takes against Martijn Kleermaker.

Fallon Sherrock, the runner-up in the 2021 Nordic Darts Masters, will face Maik Kuivenhoven as she continues her 2022 World Series tour.

The tournament’s first match pits Jonny Clayton, the defending World Series of Darts Finals champion, against Jermaine Wattimena, fourth-seeded James Wade against Jeffrey de Zwaan, and veteran Vincent van der Voort against Gerwyn Price.

The quarterfinals, semifinals, and championship game will all be contested in one session on Saturday’s second day of competition at the Ziggo Dome.
